Richard Allen Thompson,

82 of Florence, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021. Serving in the United States Air Force, Allen retired after 22 years. He was a UK fan and enjoyed all college sports. Allen was a man of honor and integrity. He loved his family and his dogs. He will truly be missed by those he leaves behind: his wife of 60 years Harriet Thompson; children Anthony Scott Thompson (Becky), Timothy Lee Thompson (Amy), Clayton Howard Thompson (Maria), Christopher Matthew Thompson (Jennifer), Stacy Thompson and Taylor Thompson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; many extended family members and friends. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
