Robert Alton Freeman, 84, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, with his loving family by his side at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. 

Robert was born on August 8, 1942, in Winchester, Kentucky, the son of the late Oliver S. Freeman and Callie Flinchum. He was the proud former owner of Bob’s Roofing and Masonry, a business he owned and operated for many years. 

He is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Carrillo, and his cherished grandchildren, Nathan Jr., Breanna, and Alanna Carrillo, as well as his beloved son-in-law, Nathan Carrillo, who he loved as a son. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Georgie Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service.
