Robert Earl Gross, Sr.

Robert Earl Gross, Sr., 86, of Arcadia, Indiana, formerly of Covington, Kentucky, passed away at his home, Thursday, January 22, 2026.  He was born April 12, 1939, in Owenton, Kentucky, the son of the late Robert Gross and Mamie Ellis Gross.  He was a proud Army Veteran.  He loved Golfing, playing Euchre, bingo and bowling.  He was married to Betty Jean Gross, who preceded him in death. Surviving are four children, Robert E. Gross, Jr., (Karen); Phillip P. Gross (Linda); Jeffrey B. Gross (Wendy); and Robin A. Muterspaugh (Robert); two stepdaughters, Pat Lightner (Tom) and Rita Massie (Jim); one brother, John Gross (Wanda); 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Elizabeth Wills and Dorothy Kennedy.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, January 30, 2026, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, with  Dan Frances officiating.  Visitation will be Friday from 11-1 PM.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Floral Hills is honored to serve the Gross family.
