Robert Lee Shaw, 79, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. He was born April 22, 1944, in Burksville, Kentucky, the son of the late Millard Shaw and Anna Brummet Shaw. He was a retired Construction Worker. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Shaw; sisters, Carrie Shaw, Ruth Wilson, and Robbie Sipple; brother, Kenneth Shaw; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Sanders, Pauline Dyer, and Cecil Shaw and his brothers, Chester Shaw, Joe Shaw, Calvin Shaw, and Junior Shaw. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, where visitation will be held Thursday from 11-1 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
