Robert Collier Spencer

Robert Collier Spencer, 86, of Florence, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on September 1, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1940, in Dayton, Kentucky, to the late Joseph Spencer and Emma Spencer.

Robert worked as a press operator for General Electric before retiring. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially fishing, camping, taking walks, and spending time outdoors working in his yard. He liked listening to classical music, loved building legos, and was a loyal Cincinnati Bengals fan. More than anything, Robert loved spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Watson.

In addition to his parents, Robert is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Ethelynne Spencer, and 6 siblings.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Spencer II (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Robby (Elysa), Nikkolas, and Cecili; and numerous great-grandchildren. He leaves behind many family members and loved ones who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

Robert will be remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, and the many simple things that brought him happiness throughout his life.
