Ronald Christopher Smith

Ronald Christopher Smith, 49, of Blairsville, Georgia and formerly of Newport, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born January 30, 1974, a son of the late James Capek and Shirley Smith. Ronald is survived by his loving sisters, Cassandra Beach and Melissa Oliver; brothers, Dwight T. Smith, Harry L. Smith Ⅱ, Matthew Edwards, and Jimmy Capek; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Smith and brother, Mike Capek. A big thank you to those from Blairsville, Georgia, who helped him throughout his life. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve Ronald’s family.
