79, of Covington, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He is preceded in death by his wife Geneva Simpson and daughter Gladys Creech. Roy is survived by his children Douglas Simpson, Teresa (Rick) Covey, Vanessa (Ken) Rowley, Susan (Phillip) Marsh, Denise Cantrell, Lisa Simpson and Jeffery (Jackie) Simpson; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Seven Hills Church, 6800 Hazel Court, Florence, KY 41015 from 10am until time of Memorial Service at 11am. Floral Hills Funeral Home is serving the family.
