Sandra Kay Goldsberry

Sandra Kay Goldsberry, a devoted school teacher and a beloved member of her community, passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on March 9, 1964, Sandra dedicated her life to education, serving as a teacher for decades and profoundly impacting the lives of countless students. Her passion for learning and commitment to nurturing young minds exemplified her very loving and kind nature.

Sandra was known for her deep faith, characterized by her love for God which influenced her daily life and interactions with others. She found solace and joy in reading the Bible, using her spiritual beliefs to guide and uplift those around her. Her warm personality and caring spirit endeared her to many, making her a cherished figure in the hearts of family, friends, and colleagues.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Wanda Goldsberry, and her Sissy Chastity (Jeff) Branson. She leaves behind stepdaughters Anna Elsbernd and Colleen Elsbernd, as well as her nephews Shelton and Landon and niece Maclai, and many loved ones whom will miss her dearly. Sandra is predeceased by her father, Norman Goldsberry.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, located at 6056 Taylor Mill Rd, Covington, KY. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Sandra will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, with burial taking place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on the same day.

Sandra Kay Goldsberry will be remembered for her enduring love, kindness, and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion and dedication to her faith will continue to inspire those she left behind.
