Saundra LaVon Herrmann, 92 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on January 28, 2026, at Christ Hospital. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Noble and Una Smith. LaVon was a member of Latonia Baptist Church and worked for 30 years as a Teacher with the Cincinnati School system. In her spare time, LaVon was an avid member of the Queen City Women’s Club, College Club and the Towne Club. She loved to travel our country and the world, and she spent much of her life doing so. She also loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. LaVon was a concert pianist and loved teaching others to play as much as playing herself. Preceding LaVon was her loving husband, Richard A. Herrmann and twin sister, Sharon LaDon Rammelsberg. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Osborn Howard; grandchildren Jamie Osborn and Gary Osborn, and 4 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11:30 am until the Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Following the service, family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Buckhead Mountain Grill on the riverfront in Bellevue, KY.
