Shelby Jean Hutchins

Shelby Jean Hutchins, 83, of Florence, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at home.  She was born April

14, 1940, in Independence.  She is survived by her daughters, Tina Newby Rich (Kenny); Anita Newby

Beach (Tony); five grandchildren, Ashley, Andy, Kyle, Keisha and Crisslinn; five great-grandchildren, Mabel,

Georgie, Owen, Baylor and Reid; two sisters, Donna Dressman (Terry) and Barbara Potter.  She was also

preceded in death by her parents, Homer F. Hutchins and Eva M. Simmons Hutchins and seven brothers

and sisters.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home

with Pastor David Wiggins officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 9-11AM with burial to follow at

Floral  Hills Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Jude

Children's Hospital.
