Shirley Ann Glass

Shirley Ann Glass, age 82, of Piner, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at Rosedale Green in Covington, Kentucky. She was born on November 5, 1943, in Rural, Kentucky, to the late Alexander Schnitzler and Frankie Ball Schnitzler.

Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who loved her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Oliver Dennis Glass; her son-in-law, Rick Lunsford; and her sisters, Ethel, Loretta, and Louise.

She was a faithful member of Goshen Christian Church in Morning View, Kentucky, for more than 50 years. Shirley enjoyed spending her time crocheting, gardening, and listening to older country music. Her kind heart and caring spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Kreke (Cliff), Pamela Lunsford, Peggy Glass, Dennis Glass (Cynthia), Patsy Cartwright (Rob), and Penny Wallace (Alex); her sisters, Rita, Jeanie, and Patty; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
