Shirley M. Williams Hopkins, 78, of Crestview Hills passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband C.C. "Buddy" Hopkins in 2003. Survivors include 2 daughters, Gayle Washnock of Jacksonville, FL and Susan Tedeschi of Crescent Springs; 2 sons, Michael Hopkins of Washington, D.C. and Douglas Hopkins of Covington; a stepson, Richard Hopkins of Covington; a brother Jack Williams of Walton; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Garden, Covington. Memorials suggested to the American Heart Association , 5211Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45227.
