Stephen Ray Webster, 48, of Northern Kentucky, died Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, surrounded by his children at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born March 28th, 1977, in Covington, Kentucky, the son of Vernon E. Webster (Anne Webster) and Diana J. Bishop Webster. Stephen was a dedicated registered nurse who spent most of his career in the Emergency Department at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky. Most recently, he enjoyed his work as a travel nurse at various hospitals in the Dayton, Ohio area. He touched countless lives through his compassionate nursing care and was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Stephen was especially proud of his two DAISY Award nominations for extraordinary nursing care. Stephen was a devoted fan of the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team and the Cincinnati Bengals. Stephen also enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his motorcycle, and sipping on a cold Diet Coke. Stephen was a loving father to his children, Francesca Peddinti (Sandeep), Meghan Webster (Jacob Riess), and Stephen Webster Jr. He is also survived by his nine brothers and sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends whom he loved dearly. He will be remembered for his endless kindness, contagious laugh, and the way he could make any room brighter—usually with a joke and a Diet Coke in hand. Visitation will be held 11:30-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of traditional flowers, Stephen’s family requests that donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation at https://glioblastomafoundation.org/get-involved/donate
