Stephen A Wells

Stephen Arvin Wells, 65, of California, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 26, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 16, 1960, to the late Hobert L. Wells and Vivian L. Belew Wells. He was a retired Truck Driver and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his 1/2 sister, Barbara Chan. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Gaupel Wells; his sons, Joshua Wells (Stephanie) and Kevin Wells (Jamie) and honorary son Erik Schnitzler; one brother, Robert Wells (Joan); one sister, Shirley Kinney; Lifelong friend Charles Fryman; grandchildren Dorothy, Caroline, Jack and Riker; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the St. John's Lutheran Church, 5977 Lower Tug Fork Rd., Melbourne; with Vicar Dave Eakin officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at the church. Family requests casual attire. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Wells family. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital or St. John Memorial fund.
