Steven Farris

Steven Allen Farris, 66, of Independence, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.  Steve was born November 9, 1955, in Ft. Thomas, a son of the late Elmer Farris and Ann Albers Farris.  Retired from Swan’s, actively engaged in several youth sports organizations during his sons childhood and a member of the Dayton Eagles.  He is survived by his: Wife of 48 years Deborah K. Gubser Farris; his sons, Brad (Wendy) Farris and Jason (Kristin) Farris; his grandchildren, Owen, Bailey, Gavin, Ken and John; 4 sisters, Debbie Rogers, Tracy Garrigus, Elaine Thames and Gina Pranger, and preceded in death by an infant brother Billy Farris.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, October 10, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home where visitation will be held Monday from 11-1PM.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth.
