Steven L. Moermond

Steven L. Moermond, 77, of Latonia, died Wednesday, September 23, 2026.  He was born May 30, 1949, in Dayton, Kentucky, the son of the late Clarence and Margaret Miller Moermond.  He was a retired Auto Mechanic, an Army Veteran, and an avid fisherman.  He was married May 16, 1980, to Nancy Ellen Mitchell Moermond, who survives.  Also surviving are his stepchildren, Craig Bohman (Jody); Steve Bohman (Alison); one sister, Sandra Miller (Roger); and Roger Moermond (Lou Emma); eight grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Moermond.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7 PM Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, with Dan Hillard officiating.  Visitation will be from 5-7 PM.  Entombment will be at a later date at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Floral Hills is honored to serve the Moermond family.
