Susan Elizabeth Outman, 72, of Colonie, New York, and later, The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Sue embraced life and loved spending her days golfing, grilling and enjoying the sunshine and friendships that came with life in The Villages, but nothing made her happier than taking care of others.

Sue shared many happy years with her devoted partner, Bob Stricker, and loved his children, Brian (Jennie) Stricker, Brad (Melissa) Stricker and Brecke (Derek) Helman as her own, as well as her cherished grandsons, Braxton (Abby) Stricker, Jaden Stricker, Lennon, Crew, Nash, and Denver Helman. She also adored her “fur babies”, Benji and Muffy, and her “grand fur babies,” Sugar, Gus and Hazel.

Sue was predeceased in life by parents, Edward and Eva Ryan, husband, Kenneth Outman, and was loving parent/grandparent to stepson Karl (Debra) and twins, Kayla and Zachary. She is also survived by her brother, Mike (Patty), his children, and many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and extended family members from both marriages.

Sue will be remembered for her unselfish, loving and generous heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held Monday from 11-1 PM.  Interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Floral Hills is honored to serve the Outman family.
