Thomas Dale Furnish

Thomas Dale Furnish, 79, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Shepard Furnish, and his son, Tom Furnish.

Thomas's memory will live on in the hearts of his loving daughter, Karen Furnish-Mills (Jay); his brother, David Furnish (Vonna) and Carol Lyle; and his cherished friend, Brenda Turman. He will also be remembered by several nieces and a nephew.

A distinguished Navy veteran, Thomas was known for his bravery, adventurous spirit, and the quiet kindness he showed to everyone around him. His generous heart and warm presence will be deeply missed—from Covington, Kentucky, to Jonesboro, Arkansas, and everywhere his life touched.

Family and friends will always treasure the memories they shared with him—camping trips, long drives, and the laughter that made every moment together special.

Above all, he was the best dad ever, a steady source of love, strength, and guidance who will never be forgotten.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, July 25, 2026 from 12:00 PM  to 1:00 PM, followed by words of remembrance at 1:00 PM with military honors.
