Virgie Wilson

Virgie Wilson, a beloved wife, mother, nanny, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home on May 23, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on April 15, 1929, Virgie's life was characterized by her deep devotion to her family and her active participation in her community, particularly as a cherished member of Fowler Creek Baptist Church.

Virgie is survived by her five devoted children: Elaine Lee (Jerry), Faye Tursany (Tom), George Wilson (Vera), Bernice Hasty (Dennis), and Delores Wilson. She was immensely proud of her legacy, which includes 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom will carry forward the love and wisdom she imparted throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Wilson, of Fort Wright, KY, as well as her parents, Bradley and Ellen Bradshaw. Virgie also mourned the loss of one sister and three brothers, with whom she shared many cherished memories.

Virgie's warmth and kindness touched all who knew her. Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A in Taylor Mill, KY, with visitation scheduled for May 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on May 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM.

Virgie Wilson's legacy of love, faith, and familial devotion will be forever treasured by those she leaves behind.
