Virgil Jones, 79, of Taylor Mill, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a retired gas pressure operator from CG&E, Cincinnati, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Orchard Street Baptist Church, Elsmere, the National Rifle Association, and the Steel Workers Union.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Jones; and a son, Wesley Jones of Cincinnati.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Orchard Street Baptist Church, Elsmere. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to Orchard Street Baptist Church, 811 Orchard St., Elsmere, Ky. 41018.
