Willa Jean Lefevers, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 16, 1934, in Straight Creek, Kentucky, Willa was a cherished presence in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Willa was known for her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit. She was the sweetest person you could ever meet, always radiating warmth and love to those around her. Wills was also a member of Greater Vision Full Gospel for the last three years.
Willa is survived by her children with whom she loved dearly ;Jerry Lefevers (Crystal), Irene Napier (Allen), and Donna Noel (Jason). Her greatest joys were found in the laughter and love shared with her 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, all of them she adored deeply. The countless memories they created together will serve as a lasting testament to the love that only a mother and grandmother can provide.
Alongside her immediate family, Willa leaves behind her dear sisters, Jenetta Hawkins and Leona Muncy, who held a special place in her heart. Though she has departed from this world, she is reunited in spirit with her loving husband, Doyle Curtis Lefevers, her precious daughter, Glenda Parrot, and her dear siblings: Ethel Bernice Davidson, Myrtle Louise Wilson, Aleen Rice, Robert Rice, and Dewey Rice Jr.
Willa's legacy lies not only in her family but in the impact she made on friends and neighbors throughout her life. Her love for puzzle books brought her joy in her quieter moments, and loving on her dogs is something she enjoyed. Her daughter Donna was Willa's caregiver for the last several years and her devotion to her mother is greatly appreciated by many.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on January 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A in Taylor Mill, KY. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, concluding with the burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM.
As we bid farewell to Willa Jean Lefevers, let us remember the joy, love, and delicious meals she gifted us. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she loved and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
